Hi my name is Ryann Al-Lahiq. I am a Web Designer who loves a challenge! Being a self starter and admittedly still earning my wings in this hugely competitive industry, I’ve learned that anything can be accomplished provided that the steps to acheive your goals are clear and well implemented. I haven’t stopped learning since I started out in this industry just after I graduated university, and with the exponential way the internet seems to be diversifying, it seems likely that I wont stop any time soon...
LinkedIn or check out my blog for news updates on new ground that I am covering. Alternatively You can get a copy of my Resume if you want to get down to Brass Tax :)
Recently I completed A 4 month interning position as a Web Designer for a London based legal firm Miramar Legal. The website I developed consists of over 20 pages of content, built using CSS and HTML for the bespoke front end and several PHP based contact forms implemented via client-side scripting. Earlier in 2009 I completed A 3 month internship with London based Web Design firm Oxmedia Digital As an Assistant Web Designer I aided in the design, analysis and implementation in features that our client's had requested. A testament to the great deal of learning I underwent, is the recollection that when I arrived I was used to making websites in Adobe Dream weaver, but by the time I left, I was hand coding in notepad.
Adobe Photoshop CS3 Notepad++ IE and Firefox Developer Plugins, W3C Validator For prepping SEO And to top it all off, an obscene collection of Web Design and Developer resources that I’ve got bookmarked.
